Born to Agnes and Michael Jonova, Natalie Cartrice Jonova was born and raised just miles outside of Myrtle Beach in the small town of Conway, South Carolina. Her father is a boat repairman and her mother is an elementary school teacher in the area. Jonova also has a younger brother, NAME HERE, who broke into the entertainment industry as an actor not long after Natalie rose to fame.

Jonova never intended to become a school teacher like her mother always wanted. Instead, she spent her time drawing herself in the future. She has spoken in interviews previously mentioning times where her mother would find her walls covered in miniature scenes of what her life would be like once she "made it" and moved to become a star.
